In its middle course between the towns of Bihać and Bosanski Novi, the Una gradually transforms from a fast mountain river into a slow lowland river. After Bihać, the Una first passes through a canyon from Kostelski Buk Falls to the town of Bosanska Krupa. It's possible to take part in a relaxing rafting adventure on this section of the river (2). Swimming in the Una is ideal in the more peaceful section of its course between the towns of Bosanska Krupa (3) and Bosanska Otoka (4).
A trip to this region can be enhanced with a visit to the old towns of Ostrožac (1) and Bijela Stijena (4), the Krušnica River (6), or the towns of Bužim, Cazin and Velika Kladuša in the most western section of BiH (7).
