The mountainous region north of Sarajevo, around which the towns of Olovo and Vareš and the village of Nišići form a triangle, abounds with dense forests, clean air, and beautiful locations for spending time in nature. In the center of this region, in the Bijambare Nature Park (2), you'll find the most beautiful cave in the vicinity of Sarajevo. Olovo (3) and Vareš (4) are small Bosnian towns, which are well known for their mining pasts. Between the two is the village of Očevlje, where blacksmiths continue to practice their trade with the assistance of water (6). Relaxation can be found in the villages of Strica and Zaruđe, near Vareš (5). The village of Čevljanovići, which isn't far from the village of Nišići (1), is known for its organization of Bosnian bull fights (bs. korida), where two bulls fight each other until the weaker one leaves the arena.
Along the road from Sarajevo to Olovo, close to the Ljubina River, numerous restaurants offer delicious food.
